I have been an Emergency Medicine Consultant for nearly 20 years in Brighton University Hospitals of Sussex, where we have the Major Trauma Centre. During my time I have enjoyed lots of teaching ( Acute Care Common Stem Training Program Director ), lots of Trauma ( Major Trauma Centre and ex-HEMS doctor ) and lots of medicine. ( our everyday spectrum of minor to major illness ) which has always made Emergency Medicine the best career imaginable for me.

I am now working part-time for the NHS and concentrating on humanitarian Emergency Medicine in conflict areas with UK-Med, the HALO Trust De-mining Organisation and the Emergency Medicine roster for the ICRC.
