ArresTEE course
Optimize CPR by Trans Esophageal Echo!
With this training you will take the next step in POCUS and CPR. By the end of this course (consisting of eight hours of e-learning an one day hands on training), you will be able to confidently integrate TEE into cardiac arrest management leading to improved diagnostic accuracy, procedural precision and team performance during CPR.
ArresTEE course
Program
Participants gain access to an online platform containing an 8-hour e-learning module to prepare for the hands-on training day.
The hands-on session takes place in a simulation lab. Starting at 9 a.m. with an introduction, participants are guided step by step until they reach the level where they can independently perform TEE during CPR.
The training focusses on:
- Safe probe insertion and positioning
- Acquisition and interpretation of core resuscitative TEE views
- Using TEE to guide compressions, defibrillation, and decision-making
- Team communication and workflow integration during cardiac arrest
The hands on day concludes at 4 p.m.

ArresTEE course
Improve resuscitation: see what really happens during CPR.
Point-of-care ultrasound has become a standard part of advanced life support, but transthoracic views often fail when it matters most. Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) offers continuous, high-quality imaging during compressions — revealing cardiac motion, compression effectiveness, and reversible causes in real time.
ArresTEE is a compact, high-impact training for clinicians involved in critical care and resuscitation who want to take the next step beyond POCUS.
You’ll complete around roughly 8 hours of online preparation followed by an intensive full-day hands-on course, focusing on:
- Safe probe insertion and positioning
- Acquisition and interpretation of core resuscitative TEE views
- Using TEE to guide compressions, defibrillation, and decision-making
- Team communication and workflow integration during cardiac arrest
By the end of this course, participants will confidently integrate TEE into cardiac arrest management — improving diagnostic accuracy, procedural precision, and team performance.
