As a Dutch Emergency Physician, having previously worked in the Dutch Royal Navy as Search and Rescue doctor on the Lynx helicopter, I came to the UK in 2013 to gain more experience in Emergency Medicine. It was an instant match and I\u2019ve not managed to leave as of yet! I feel extremely lucky and honored to be working both in \u201cA&E\u201d at the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton and with Kent Surrey Sussex Air Ambulance. If I\u2019m not at work you are likely to find me at sea while practising my skills as crewmember with the Brighton RNLI Lifeboat!<\/p>\n
