{"id":816,"date":"2023-11-08T21:01:41","date_gmt":"2023-11-08T20:01:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.emplus.nl\/?post_type=mentor&#038;p=816"},"modified":"2023-11-08T21:38:30","modified_gmt":"2023-11-08T20:38:30","slug":"gavin-tunnard","status":"publish","type":"mentor","link":"https:\/\/www.emplus.nl\/nl\/mentor\/gavin-tunnard\/","title":{"rendered":"Gavin Tunnard"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I am a UK EM physician working in the North of Scotland in a small rural DGH 80% of the time with 20% of my time being spent working for the Scottish retrieval service (EMRS) which sees me doing standard pre-hospital HEMS work along with ICU transfers via fixed wing from the Scottish islands to the regional tertiary centre.<\/p>\n<p>I trained in Yorkshire, Melbourne and London and was a consultant for a couple of years in a large DGH in London and the regional major trauma centre before moving to Scotland in search of a more even work life balance and more outdoor space for the family!
