I am a UK Emergency Physician working in the Major Trauma Centre in Brighton. I dual-accredited in both Emergency Medicine and Critical Care and since gaining a Consultant post have spent 6 months seconded to the Kent, Surrey, Sussex Air Ambulance (HEMS) service for whom I still do regular shifts. I am passionate about the management of the critically ill in both the pre-hospital arena and within the ED and strongly believe this is an area in which Emergency Physicians can make a tremendous difference to patient care.<\/p>\n
I have a strong interest in teaching and over the last five years have developed, lead and taught on a number of the Bromley Emergency Courses revision courses for both the MCEM and FCEM examinations.
